This post is helping gringos traveling in Mexico who want to travel directly from Cuernavaca to Puebla. There is no need to connect in Mexico City.
I tried the well known large bus services like ETN, Primera Plus, Futura (bus companies that I usually take in Mexico) but none of them had a direct service from Cuernavaca to Puebla. They all required connection through Mexico City before going to Puebla.
I don’t want to go back to Mexico City before going to Puebla! It would be wasting my time!
This post is meant to save your time because I found a direct route from Cuernavaca to Puebla!
Here is the bus terminal I found!

Address: Cuauhnáhuac Km. 2.5, Bugambilias, 62480 Cuernavaca, Mor.
They depart every hour from Cuernavaca – Puebla.
The fare is from 290 – 320 Mexican Pesos ( 15 USD / RM 65)
Approximal 3 hours ride to Puebla (CAPU) Terminal.
This is 3 seats in each row. The seats are comfortable, lots of leg room, a personal screen with movies & games (sorry, Spanish language only) and seperate toilets for male & female. If you are travel alone, the one-seater is same as a 2 seaters so it bigger.
When you board, they will offer you snacks & soda and free earphones to enjoy your movie.
We didn’t book in advance as usual. We just went to the bus terminal and bought our tickets. We went on a weekday, so not sure if you need to book in advance on weekends. We always travel on weekdays and we always get our seats and tickets.

I was traveling in the opposite direction & was not able to get the “ejectivo” service so I took the other option which was slower & made 2 stops. It also had a 2+2 seating configuration.
Not bad overall, for a 2 hr trip.

Did the bus stop at all along the way? I’m in Atlixco which is about 40 min west of Puebla. I would really prefer not to backtrack to Puebla and waste more than an hour of time just to head back west again to Cuernavaca.
